Act Restoring Cool Mint, 0.05% NaF, 11% alcohol
Just to clarify from previous reviews, the product listed has "non-diluted" (once a day) 0.05% sodium fluoride and does contain 11% alcohol as listed in the inactive ingredients. Having had a "toothpaste diet" suggested to me by my dentist for receding gums, this product was just what I was looking for and a great deal compared to the ~$7/bottle from CVS or Target for the same rinse.

Excellent
I have always had sensitive, fairly brittle teeth. I was fairly desperate and looking for something to help them, and half-heartedly tried Act Restore. I noticed an immediate difference, with my teeth less sensitive. I am very happy with this product, and will probably use it as long as it is available.

Wish it had less artificial stuff, but it works well
My teeth have suddenly started having troubles, so I picked this up, and it does seem to be helping. I do wish it didn't have lots of artificial flavors and colors, but oh well. Do make sure you check the specific bottle you're buying---this should have .05% fluoride (this size does list that); some larger sizes are diluted to .025% --- half-strength, when you're likely to assume, since the labeling is largely the same, that you're getting the same product. The taste is a bit medicinal at first, but I found I got used to it.

I read the other reviewers comments that the flouride is half the amount in this 33oz bottle compared to the 18oz bottle. So of course me and google were off to investigate this shortage of flouride and found the comments below on the ACT company page [...] This should clear up things for those who might want to but this product. As for the product itself I brush twice daily so it works for me. Good stuff
I like using this product. It doesn't burn like other products (this rinse wash does not have alcohol in it). It leaves your breath fresh.What I didn't realize was that the 33.8oz bottle contains much less fluoride. I found this on their website:"All ACT products in an 18oz or smaller bottle, contain 0.05% sodium fluoride, which is equivalent to 0.02% of the fluoride ion. Our 33oz bottles contain 0.02% sodium fluoride, which is equivalent to 0.009% of the fluoride ion."I feel a bit scammed here since this means I bought less fluoride and more water.... and it wasn't cheap.

Perfect amount of floruide
Alcohol based mouth washes can actually promote bacteria in your mouth because that bacteria comes back stronger each time you kill them out using alcohol - in turn it gives you even worse breath and your bad breath comes back quicker after each use.This however is a great mouthwash.- Gives you great breath- Good amount of fluoride (not too much or too little for 2-3x daily use)- No alcoholall in all, I love it. Will continue to use it as my mouthwash.

Product great!!! This deal isn't though!!!
I was tempted to do a 1 star, but that isn't fair, because this is a GREAT product, I love the results. Why I was going to give an unfair 1 star? This is a LOUSY deal, comes out to 7 bucks a bottle (after you add in the high shipping!). I took the bait, and too late realized at a big box store the same size bottle was HALF THE PRICE!!! My only grip! Buy this product, but save your money and buy elsewhere at half the cost!

We've used ACT Rinse for years, at our dentist's suggestion. Right before bed, after brushing, swish a mouthful around for a minute and spit - you'll be coating your clean teeth in fluoride protection. It helps protect against cavities by restoring the enamel on your teeth.It has a mild minty flavor, not nearly as strong as Scope, and also come in Bubble Gum flavor for kids. There is a slight saccharine aftertaste but nothing too unpleasant - especially for the protection this product gives.We have un-fluoridated well water at our house, so adding the extra fluoride protection is important for our kids' developing teeth. Not a rip off
The previous posters all focus on the dilution without understanding why. I searched for this 33 oz bottle specifically because ACT recommends the lower concentration for twice a day rinsing. The 18 oz is only intended for once a day rinsing, so it is a higher concentration. From the ACT website: "The 18oz bottle is formulated for once-a-day usage, while the 33oz bottle should be used twice daily." It is unfortunate that the product description on this page does not contain that information.

Great product for TWICE a day use
People read the bottles--this size is for twice a day usage. I personally use this at least twice a day and LOVE it. I was cursed with terrible gums and teeth which require brushing, flossing and mouthwash 4+ times a day just to keep them in check. ACT is the only mouthwash I will use, and Cool Splash Spearmint is my favorite flavor. I can definitely tell if I've slacked off on using this, my gums start to hurt. My mouth is much healthier when using this mouthwash. Just ask my dentist!

I am an adult and I use this product daily because I have a hard time talking myself into using adult flavors that burn my mouth. The bubble gum flavor isn't overwhelming, either. The active ingredient level is the same as adult products. The BEST part? The bottle is now a #2 plastic bottle; it used to be a concerning #4 plastic.

Big Hit with my 3 year old
This bubble gum flavored mouth wash is a great incentive for getting my little girl to brush. She knows that she only gets to rinse after she brushes. The flavor is great and she loves the bottle design that lets her squeeze the pre measured rinse amount into the upper portion. Her dentist also says that it's a great way to add fluoride since she doesn't drink much of our fluoridated tap water.

Great Supplemental Fluoride for both Adolesents and Adults
ACT AntiCavity Fluoride Mouthwash for kids (bubblegum flavor) is a product that can be used with kids 6 and over and in adults as well. It does have a strong bubblegum (pink bubblegum) flavor that most kids like. Takes the Edge off Sensitive Teeth
I have extremely weak enamel so regular flouride rinses are simply a MUST for me. ACT is the only product that takes the throbbing edge off my front teeth. Whenever I miss a daily rinse, it's nearly intolerable to drink anything that isn't room temperature. I love ACT!!I've tried all the flavors and I've found that cinnamon is the best for my already sensitive teeth. Surprisingly, unlike the shockingly strong mint, it is actually quite tame and allows for a full 60-second rinse. The mint left me with such a strong burning sensation, I was never able to complete the recommended rinse time.

Save Your Teeth
At my age, your teeth need all the help they can get. My dentist suggested I start using a fluoride rinse, and as he explained, it makes the enamel on your teeth harder so they'll last longer.I chose this brand because I like the flavor (the cinnamon isn't hot so don't worry), AND because this brand is the only one I could find that's approved by the ADA.
